In 2009, after earning my massage therapy and bodywork license, I embarked on an in-depth study of the highly respected John F. Barnes Myofascial Release (MFR) method. This journey has developed into a lifelong commitment to professional development within this transformative therapeutic approach.

As a recognized expert-level therapist within the John F. Barnes MFR community, I provide therapeutic services and offer specialized lectures and educational sessions on fascia and Myofascial Release. My approach integrates a comprehensive understanding of the body, combining both physical and energetic aspects of healing. Through the application of subtle bodywork techniques, I aim to align and clear energy pathways, fostering a state of presence, vitality, and balance within the whole body. I am dedicated to helping clients alleviate pain, restore mobility, and cultivate the foundation for an active, healthy life. Additionally, I believe that achieving resonance between body and mind plays a pivotal role in enhancing mental well-being, underscoring the profound mind-body connection.

Candace Pert, a pioneering neuroscientist and pharmacologist, is widely known for her groundbreaking work on the biochemistry of emotions and the discovery of the opioid receptor. Her research provides valuable insights into the intricate relationship between the mind and body. Candace once wrote, "The body is the subconscious mind" and, "We are not our brains. We are our consciousness, which is far more complicated and interconnected than we have ever imagined."

These powerful insights into the interconnectedness of the mind, body, and emotions underscore the importance of addressing both physical and mental health to promote overall well-being. It is clear that mental and physical health are deeply intertwined, and healing the body can significantly enhance one's emotional and psychological state. The techniques I offer, such as Myofascial Release, breathwork, yoga, and other holistic modalities, provide invaluable opportunities to amplify healing efforts, whether as standalone therapies or in conjunction with mental health counseling.
